Hoy cierras un volumen más en la historia de tu vida....... Cuando comenzaste este año era todo tuyo, te lo puso Dios en las manos, podías hacer con él lo que quisieras: un poema, una pesadilla, una blasfemia, una oración. Podías, hoy ya no puedes, no es tuyo; ya lo has escrito ahora es de Dios..... Te lo va a leer todo el Señor en el mismo día en que te mueras, con todos sus detalles.....Ya no podrás corregirlo......ha pasado al dominio de la eternidad. Piensa unos momentos en esta noche vieja.....toma un viejo libro y hojéalo despacio, deja pasar sus páginas por tus manos y por tu conciencia. Ten el gusto de leerte a ti mismo. Lee también aquellas páginas que nunca hubieras querido escribir. No...no intentes arrancarlas.... es inútil.... ten el valor para leerlas. Son tuyas.... no puedes arrancarlas cuando escribas tu volumen siguiente..... Si lo haces así Dios las pasará de corrido cuando lea tu libro en el último día. Lee tu libro este fin de año, hay en él trozos de ti mismo. Es un drama apasionante en el que el primer personaje eres tú. Tú en escena con Dios, con los hombres, con tu vida. Tú lo has escrito con el instrumento asombroso de tu libre albedrío sobre la superficie inmensa y movediza del mundo. Es un libro misterioso que en su mayor parte (la más interesante), no puede leerlo nadie máss que dios y tú. Si tienen ganas de besarlo, bésalo; si tienes ganas de llorar, llora fuerte sobre tu libro...... Tómalo en tus manos, levántalo hacia el cielo y dile a Dios tres palabras: gracias, perdón y ayúdame. Después dáselo a Dios. No importa cómo esté, aunque tenga páginas negras. Dios sabe perdonar. Esta noche te va a dar Dios otro libro completamente en blanco y nuevo. Es todo tuyo, vas a escribir en él, lo que quieras. Pon el nombre de Jesús en la primera página. Después dile que no te deje escribirlo solo. Dile que te tenga siempre de su mano y de su corazón.
